Albums :: Mile Markers - Boston Post Road
You may or may not have noticed, but there are dozens of milestones lining the old route of the Boston Post Roads. These markers were erected at every mile to indicate distances between towns, for calculating postage. Some are originals, others have been restored, and others are replicas. Most of them have been moved at least some amount over time.
This site is devoted to documenting the mile markers of Boston Post Road. If you know of a stone that is not discussed here, or information about the stones, please contact me and pass it along.
